All services, including tutoring and writing services, are available free of charge to Mizzou students regardless of your financial aid or admissions status.
If English is not your first language, the Center for English Language Learning, or CELL, can help you develop your English language skills and broaden your understanding of academic and American culture in a casual and fun way.
The Learning Center offers tutoring, writing, and time management services. Their services are free to all students and your use is kept confidential.
MU has contracted with NetTutor to provide online tutoring to MU students free of charge. The tutors are trained to not just provide answers but help you understand how to work through problems.
Whether online or on-campus, the Writing Center can help you improve your writing skills. Virtual assistance is available. All services are free and kept confidential.
In addition to the writing assistance offered through the Learning Center, students enrolled in a Writing Intensive, or WI, course also have access to a WITS tutor who is familiar with the course’s specific assignment and requirements.
The policies set by Faculty Council Academic Affairs apply to all courses regardless of what statements are in your course syllabus.
